The Yahoo Y Bangs are cool looking disks with different themes that needed to work at various sizes, anything from letterhead right up to who knows where. The first three themes were called Digital Mosaic, Disco Ball and Neighborhood. We were able to have fun with Goodby's carefully crafted colour palette, and we worked our way around the varying output sizes by providing alternate files with subtle differences in the amount and type of detail. 

It was tricky to get an ellipse to rotate. The motion was designed to loop and we discovered it was best to work with a stationary 'Y'.
