We were asked to create a set of working gears that appear strong, yet not industrial, precise yet not delicate, not to mention finely engineered and unique.

After a considered design process, particularly in the case of the central 'Orb', a series of gears were designed and created in 3D.

These gears incorporated interlocking working rotations and formed the basis of many different print executions. An additional animated 3D asset was also provided by EA for motion purposes.
